Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
Downloading
1. The host taps on "Game Start" (the top option).
2. The host taps on "2P Battle" (the first option on the bottom row).
3. The host then taps on "Enter The Battle!" near the bottom of the lower screen.
4. The guest(s) will power on their Nintendo DS system.
5. The guest(s) tap on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
6. When the graphic bar appears saying "Zoo Keeper", the guests tap on it.
7. The guest's DS system will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
Game/Feature/Options Selection
(There are no selectable options.)
Game Controls / How To Play
1. Each player looks at their board (the lower screen).
2. Players figure out where switching two adjacent animal tiles will make a line of three (or more) in a row.
3. Players touch the stylus to one of the two animal tiles to be switched.
4. Without lifting the stylus, the player drags the tile toward the adjacent tile it's being switched with (up, down, left, or right).
5. Lines of three or more in a row will be removed automatically.
6. Each animal tile a player removes drains their opponent's status bar toward empty.
7. In between games (two out of three games wins the match), both players must tap "Next" (on their own lower screen) before the next game will begin.
8. To activate Rare Tiles, tap them with the stylus.
9. If there are ever no possible moves, "No More Move!" will appear on the lower screen briefly and then a new playing board will be presented.
What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, your opponent's health bar will be displayed along the left side of the of the screen.
2. On the upper screen, the current length of the wireless connection (not just the current game or match) is counted in the bottom left corner of the screen.
3. On the upper screen, your opponent's playing board is in the center of the screen.
4. On the upper screen, the animal tile in the bottom right corner of the screen is your opponent's lucky animal (double points).
5. On the upper screen, the number of trophies filled in at the right center edge of the screen indicated the number of games your opponent has won this match.
6. On the lower screen, your health bar will be displayed along the left side of the of the screen.
7. On the lower screen, the current length of the wireless connection (not just the current game or match) is counted in the bottom left corner of the screen.
8. On the lower screen, your playing board is in the center of the screen.
9. On the lower screen, the animal tile in the bottom right corner of the screen is your lucky animal (double points).
10. On the lower screen, the number of trophies filled in at the right center edge of the screen indicated the number of games you have won this match.
Overall Goals
1. Reduce your opponent's status bar to zero.
2. Line up animal tiles 3+ in a row to recapture them.
