Game Controls / How To Play
1. Change the shot's angle: touch the control area (bottom left of the lower screen) and drag the stylus around in a circular motion until the shot is aimed as desired.
3. Change the shot's power: touch the power gauge (center of the lower screen) and drag the bar up to indicate a stronger hit or down to indicate a weaker hit.
2. Change the ball's spin: touch the spin indicator (bottom center of the lower screen) and move the "+" to aim for a different part of the cue ball, thus adding/changing spin.
4. Zoom: touch the magnifying glass in the zoom controls (right side of the lower screen) to zoom in/out, then tap the surrounding arrows to move around (while zoomed in).
5. Shoot: Touch the Play button (on the right side of the lower screen) to take the shot as it is currently set up.
Rules Of The Game (8-Ball Pool)
1. Prior to play, 15 pool balls (1-7 are Solids, 9-15 are Stripes, and the black 8-ball) are racked (set up) in a triangular formation.
2. A player is chosen to shoot first: they place the cue ball in the half circle in the left fifth (1/5) of the table and then shoot at the group.
3. When a player pockets a pool ball (Solid or Striped) in a shot after the opening break, they are assigned that pool ball type for the duration of the match.
NOTE: The 8-ball is considered neither a Siolid or Striped pool ball in this type of pool.
4. Whenever a player pockets one of their own pool balls without fouling, they can continue shooting.
5. When a player fouls, their turn is over.
6. Types of fouls include...
6a. ...when a player pockets the cue ball. (After this foul, the opponent gets a bonus shot for a total of two, and can place the cue ball.)
6b. ...when a player pockets an opponent's pool ball. (After this foul, the opponent gets a bonus shot for a total of two.)
6c. ...when a shot hits an opponent's pool ball (or the 8-ball) first. (After this foul, the opponent gets a bonus shot for a total of two.)
6d. ...when a shot doesn't hit any pool balls on the table. (After this foul, the opponent gets a bonus shot for a total of two.)
6e. ...when a shot pockets the 8-ball before pocketing their pool balls. (After this foul, the player pocketing the 8-ball early loses the match instantly.)
7. After all fouls, if a player pockets an opponent's pool ball (but not the 8-ball early) in the first shot, they are not credited with a foul (a "free ball").
8. After pocketing all of their own pool balls, a player must nominate a pocket they wish to hit the 8-ball into each turn (it can be different each turn).
NOTE: If the 8-ball is hit into the wrong pocket that player loses the match.
