Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
3. The preselected language is "English" (the U.S. flag) should be circled. The host taps the U.S. flag.
Downloading
1. On the upper screen, the flower ("New Game") shold be preselected. The host pshes left once on the direction pad to select "Multiplayer" and then presses the "A" button.
2. The guest will power on their Nintendo DS system.
3. The guest taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
4. When the graphic bar appears saying "Totally Spies! 2 Undercover", the guest taps on it.
5. The guest's DS system will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
6. When the host's DS says that the guest has been detected and lists their name on the lower screen, the host taps "OK" in the bottom right corner of the lower screen.
Game/Feature/Options Selection
1. When the multiplayer menu comes up, there are five games the host can choose from.

3. To select a game, the host can tap its name twice or move the flower next to the game's name and then press the "A" button.
Game Controls / How To Play
1. To connect the two blinking diodes, draw a line between beginning at either one of the diodes and ending at the other.
2. Do not lift the stylus in the middle of a line or you'll have to start over.
3. Do not let your line touch a wall or you'll have to start over.
4. Do not let your line touch a wrong diode or you'll have to start over.
1. Two sets of steps and two sets of step instructions will be displayed on the lower screen (the upper screen covers your opponent's play area).
2. The steps for your left foot are the left set, and the instructions for your left foot scroll up the left side of the screen.
3. The steps for your right foot are the right set, and the instructions for your right foot scroll up the right side of the screen.
4. When instruction steps reach the circles in the top left or top right corner of the lower screen, tap the corresponding foot step in the instruction set.
5. If a step is missed, one of the hearts in the bottom center of the lower screens will empty out. When a player empties all four, the game the game is over.
Game 3 - The Winning Combination
1. For this game, the Nintendo DS system is held vertically, like a book.
2. A three-icon code will be randomly generated and will consist of the five icons in the circle in the top left corner of the touch screen...
3. Tap in a three icon code (which will appear along the bottom of the left screen) and the tap "OK" in the center of the circle.
4. In the order you entered the symbols, the three lights to the right of the code (on the left screen) will light up different colors...
4a. If the light is green, the icon is in the code in the same location it was placed.
4b. If the light is yellow, the icon is in the code in a different location than where it was placed.
4c. If the light is red, the icon is not in the code.
4d. The left light refers to the left icon, the middle light refers to the middle icon, and the right light refers to the right icon.
5. The game ends when a layers succeeds at finding the code or when a player fails for the fifth time.
1. As the spies are flying through space with jet packs, they must collect photographs.
2. Photographs are collected by flying into them (touch them with the spy's head, feet, arms - anything).
3. Avoid the large asteroids; if the spy touches an asteroid in any way, one of their four hears empties.
4. If all four hearts empty out, the spy must return to the beginning of the stage.
5. When the spy's fuel gauge (on the right side of the lower screen) is running down, blow into the microphone to fill it up instantly.

2. A picture will rearrange itself in a random order and must be reassembled.
3. Of the 16 spaces, there are 15 pieces and 1 empty space.
4. To move any of the pieces surrounding (not diagonally) the empty space, touch it with the stylus, drag it into the empty space, and then lift the stylus.
5. To see what the puzzle looks like when assembled (to help with piece location), tap the icon of the eye below the puzzle.
What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, your opponent's board is displayed.
2. On the upper screen, your opponent's status markers are displayed along the left edge of the screen.
3. On the lower screen, your board is displayed.
4. On the lower screen, your status markers are displayed along the left edge of the screeen.
5. On the lower screen, your instructions are displayed in the top center of the screen.
1. On the upper screen, your opponent's board is displayed.
2. On the upper screen, your opponent's remaining hearts are displayed in the bottom center of the screen.
3. On the lower screen, your board is displayed.
4. On the lower screen, your remaining hearts are displayed in the bottom center of the screen.
5. On the lower screen, your upcoming steps for the left foot scroll up along the left edge of the screen.
6. On the lower screen, your upcoming steps for the right foot acroll up along the right edge of the screen.
7. On the lower screen, your footseps (to tap) for the left foot are to the right of the upcomiong steps for the left foot.
8. On the lower screen, your footseps (to tap) for the right foot are to the left of the upcomiong steps for the right foot.
1. On the left screen, your combination attempts are listed.
2. On the left screen, your success or failure with each attempt's icon is displayed as three lights to the right of your combination attempts.
3. On the touch screen, the icons (and the "OK" button) are in the top left corner of the screen.
4. On the touch screen, the erasure icon (to delete an entry that has not yet been submitted) is in the right center of the screen.
5. On the touch screen, your opponent's successful attempts or failures are displayed as three-light sets near the bottom left corner of the touch screen.
6. On the touch screen, your opponent's system name will be displayed to the right of the lights indicating their successes and failures.
1. On the upper screen, the outer space playing field will be displayed.
2. On the lower screen, your remaining hearts are displayed in the top center of the screen.
3. On the lower screen, your opponent's progress along the course is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.
4. On the lower screen, your progress along the course is displayed above your opponent's progress along the course.
5. On the lower screen, your remaining fuel level is displayed along the right edge of the screeen.
6. On the lower screen, the number of pictures you've picked up so far is displayed in the very center of the screen.
1. On the left screen, your opponent's puzzle's current situation will be shown.
2. on the touch screen, your puzzle's current situation will be shown.
3. On the touch screen, the eye icon (revealing what the picture looks like assembled) is located beneath your puzzle.
Overall Goals
1. Connect the five pairs of diodes.
2. Don't touch the walls or wrong diodes.
3. Complete the task quickr than your opponent.
1. Tap the correct steps at the correct time.
2. Complete the task quicker than your opponent.
