Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
NOTE: When the video begins playing, the host can tap the lower screen to skip to the main menu.
Downloading
1. The host taps on "Battle Mode" (the third option from the top).
2. The host taps on "DS Wireless Play" (the top option).
3. The host taps on "DS Download Play" (the bottom option).
4. The guest(s) will power on their Nintendo DS system.
5. The guest(s) tap on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
6. When the graphic bar appears saying "Tank Beat", the guests tap on it.
7. The guests' DS systems will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
8. When the host's DS says that all guests trying to connect are connected, the host taps "Next" in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Game Controls / How To Play
1. Look Around (direct view): Tap on the map with the stylus.
2. Look Around (move the map): Press up, down, left, or right on the direction pad.
3. Move: Draw a line with the stylus beginning with your tank.
4. Attack: Hold down the "L" button while double tapping on the lower screen.
5. Switch Ammunition: Tap the "Ammunition Buttons" in the bottom right corner of the lower screen or press the "Y" button.
5. Stop Current Action: Press the "Stop Current Action" button in the bottom left corner of the lower screen or press the "B" button.
What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, the direct view of the battlefield is shown.
2. On the upper screen, the countdown timer is displayed in the top left corner.
3. On the upper screen, the players' scores are displayed in the top right corner.
4. On the upper screen, the current action type ("Move" or "Attack") is in the bottom left corner.
5. On the upper screen, your current health level is displayed in the bottom right corner.
6. On the lower screen, the map is shown.
7. On the lower screen, icons referring to the red team and blue team tanks are shown in the top left and top right corners of the screen (and half-way down their respective side).
8. On the lower screen, the "Stop Current Action" button is in the bottom left corner.
9. On the lower screen, the ammunition buttons (to switch between them) are in the bottom right corner.
10. On the lower screen, the ammunition buttons' ready status refills along the bottom of each ammunition button.
Overall Goals
1. Score more damage points from your attacks than your opponents score form their attacks.
