Supporting The Site
DSSingleCard.com
Why I created the site...
When I first got my Nintendo DS, I got the red Nintendo DS system that came with Mario Kart DS. The game featured the Single-Card Download ability and
I was able to play against some friends, none of whom owned any of the same games. While attending some (non-electronic) gaming conventions, I decided
to bring my Nintendo DS with me, and sought out some more games with the Single-Card Download ability, but there was no list or other information to be
found.
Some of the gamers I talked to were parents looking for games for their kids and didn't want to have to buy multiple copies of the same game. Some
were just people who loved trying out games without having to pay to buy (or rent) them. I talked with Nintendo and came away with a list of some of
the games with DS Single-Card, but not all of them.
Since no site on the web consistently talks about the Single-Card Download feature (which games have it, how it works, what you can do with it, etc.),
I decided to do the research and create a site. You know what they say, "Necessity is the mother of invention". Or, if you prefer the movie Robots,
"See a need, fill a need."
Why the site is set up this way...
The site is currently set up with only text and basic graphics for quick loading on both the Nintendo DS web browser and on computers (whether they use
dial-up or broadband Internet). The site also currently features NO GRAPHICAL ADS. I believe that informative sites should be as
efficient as possible and for now, the best way for me to be able to present this site is ad free, though no guarantees are made for the future
except that there will NEVER be pop-up ads, EVER!!!
