Game Controls / How To Play
1. The point of Polarium is to draw lines.
2. Tiles underneath the lines are flipped over.
3. When all of the tiles in a row (not a column, just a row) are the same color, the row disappears.
4. To draw a line, touch the stylus to the screen where your line will start and, WITHOUT lifting the stylus, draw the line.
5. To complete the line, lift the stylus from the screen and then tap the final tile of the line.
6. Lines can be drawn on the flippable tiles as well as the border around the flippable tiles
7. Lines can NOT enter (or cross over) a space that already has part of the line in it.
8. If you accidentally draw a line in the wrong square, retrace your line backwards without lifting the stylus as far back as you want to erase.
9. If you accidentally lift the stylus from the screen, you can still continue drawing or erasing...
9a. To continue drawing, tap a square in the row or column the line currently ends in and the line will draw to the newly tapped square.
9b. To continue erasing, tap a square in the row or column the line currently ends in along the line and the line will erase back to that point.
10. If you simply want to start the line over, tap the big blue button on the touch screen with the "X" on it.
11. In Puzzles, ten preset puzzles are provided for you to solve.
All of these puzzles must be solved using a single line.
12. In Versus, the host and a guest can play a two-player versus game.
12a. In Versus, the Nintendo DS is held like a book (the touch screen is always on the LEFT).
12b. Both players start with half a screen of rows.
12c. Whenever a player clears a row, that row goes over to their opponent.
12d. Whenever a player clears a row with a Random Tile (a tile with a question mark on it), you earn Attack Items.
12e. Attack Items' icons are located on the right side of the touch screen and are useable when they are highlighted in color.
12f. To activate an Attack Item, tap its icon.
12g. If a player can remove ALL rows so that they're all on their opponent's board at the same time, they win.
