Hint #1 - Puzzles: Use Your Last Attempt
If you attempt a puzzle and don't succeed, you last failed attempt will appear on the upper screen the next time you try the same puzzle. Use that
attempt and learn from it. It may often help you with the next step in attempting to complete the puzzle.
Hint #2 - Versus: Psychological Attack Item
The Attack Item "Reverse" doesn't have an effect that seems useful at first.
When you use it, all of your opponent's tiles reverse their color: black tiles become white and white tiles become black. The gameplay effect is very
low, since it doesn't matter whether you turn all of the tiles in a row to black or to white. The big effect is going to be in the
psychological effects it has on your opponent. When all of the tiles flip their color, it'll take a couple seconds for them to reorient
themselves to the board's layout and see the board the same way they did before. It'll be like they couldn't move for a second or two.
Hint #3 - Versus: Don't Wait For An All-In
While playing in Versus, don't feel like you need to solve everything on your board using a single line. Even if it is possible (which it often
won't be), it may take to long and your opponent may send everything over to you by the time you've done it. Be sure to pay attention to your
opponent's opening board - if it looks too easy, send a quick row or two over right away, but don't wait and trace your whole pattern or it might take
too long and the game might go a little quicker than you'd like.
