Hint #1 - Why Pick One When You Can Have Both
There are two accurate control methods in Peggle Dual Shot, but both solutions have merit. Here's what I ended up doing: I used the stylus to target and I used the direction pad to fine tune. Why use just one control scheme when you can take the best parts of each and combine them?
Hint #2 - Remember Physics?
Don't forget that the game uses pinball-like gravity physics. When the ball goes up, it'll arch and fall back down. It won't keep going on forever until it hits something. Know the arc. Use the arc.
Hint #3 - Hello, I'll Be Your SuperGuide On The PointPath Today
There are a number of things that can happen in the main game when you hit the green pegs/bars, depending on which character you're controlling. In Single-Card Download play, you can only use Bjorn the Unicorn, so your feature is SuperGuide: the game will show you where the ball will go after the first bounce. Use this knowledge to aim for an orange peg/bar and have it bounce as far as possible to another to get huge point bonuses, or to aim your ball into the 100,000 point pit on its rebound from hitting the last orange peg/bar.
