Hint #1 - Learn Miss-Trust
The number one, most imporatant thing you can learn to get good at the game quickly is to learn to miss your target consistantly. If you can learn to always have the dart land exactly half a screen (or a quarter of a screen, etc.) below where you're initially "aiming", you'll be able to hit targewts much more reliably with consistant motions.
Hint #2 - Waggley Time
When you're close enough to winning that you're about to throw a potential winning shot, the target will waggle about a bit when aiming instead of staying put. Be patient and wait for the target to be in the center of the "waggle zone" before quickly throwing the dart/letting go.
