Hint #1 - Death Doesn't Do The Slide
When playing on the Frozen Plains or the Icy Plains, the icy ground causes Link to not have stable footing. If you're trying to get away from a Phantom, be warned: Phantoms will cut much better turns on the ice and they won't slid and slide.
Hint #2 - Free Death Spikes! Just come on in! They're Free! Anybody...?
On the Icy Plains, while walking around on the upper plateu, be aware that many of the icy areas are bordered by spikes and that hitting them will have the same effect as being hit by a Phantom: loss of Force Gems. Then, be warned: if you try to pick them back up, you may hit the spikes again... and again... and again...
Hint #3 - Hey, I Said Hands Off!
If, by getting the right Battle Mode Wheel benefit, a player becomes invisible, don't touch them. That will make you dead.
Hint #4 - Phantoms + Stairs = Whuh-huh?!?
Unless they're chasing a player, Phantoms follow specific paths (which is why they will walk right into pits). Even when chasing players, however, Phantoms aren't equipped to be able to handle going up or down stairs. When escaping Phantoms via stairs, however, make sure there's not another Phantom on the other end of the stairs, OK?
