Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
Downloading
1. The host taps "Multiplayer" (near the bottom right corner of the lower screen).
2. The host taps "OK!" (near the bottom center of the lower screen).
3. The guest(s) will power on their Nintendo DS system.
4. The guest(s) tap on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
5. When the graphic bar appears saying "imagine teacher", the guests tap on it.
6. The guests' DS systems will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
7. When the host's DS says that all guests trying to connect are connected, the host taps "OK!" (near the bottom center of the lower screen).
Game/Feature/Options Selection
1. The host selects a game by tapping on its icon...
2. "Reading" is in the top row on the left.
3. "Arithmetic" is in the top row on the right.
4. "History" is in the bottom row on the left.
5. "Pottery is in the bottom row on the right.
Game Controls / How To Play
1. Each player is provided a list of words on the lower screen (the lists will not be the same).
2. Each player is given a letter on the upper screen (the letters may not be the same).
3. Each player circles the words on the lower screen that contain the letter shown on the upper screen before the time runs out.
4. Players receive one "X" for each incorrect word circled, each incomplete circle, and each time the timer runs out.
1. Each player is provived a group of animal pictures on the lower screen (the animals, their quantities, and their locations will not be the same).
2. Each player is be asked to count the total quantity for a type of animal (the animal types may not match).
3. Each player taps the check mark in the bottom right corner of the lower screen.
4. Each player then draws their own correct number on the lower screen (the players may have different correct numbers).
5. Players receive one "X" for each incorrect answer and each time the timer runs out.
1. Each player is provided a group of pictures on the lower screen, located on the white line (the pictures and their quantities will not be the same).
2. Each player will have their lower screen split into two halves (left and right), each headed by a different time period (the time periods may not be the same).
3. Each player is asked to drag pictures to the right side of the screen by touching them with the stylus, dragging them left or right, and then lifting the stylus.
4. Players receive one "X" for each incorrect answer and each time the timer runs out.
1. A lump of clay will be displayed on a potter's wheel on the lower screen.
2. Spin the wheel by quickly drawing repeated lines from left to right along the bottom of the clay (where the arrows appear) until a green check mark appears.
3. Raise the clay by quickly drawing lines up and down (alternating directions) untila green check mark appears.
4. A paint pattern will be displayed on the lower screen.
5. Tap the check mark in the lower right corner of the lower screen.
6. Drag the correct pattern from the column on the left side of the lower screen onto the pottery.
7. Players receive one "X" for each time the timer runs out.
What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, basic directions will be displayed.
2. On the upper screen, the countdown timer will be shown across the bottom edge of the screen.
3. On the lower screen, the word lists are displayed (Reading).
4. On the lower screen, the animal pictures are displayed (Arithmetic).
5. On the lower screen, the two time period columns are displayed (history).
6. On the lower screen, the clay and the pottery wheel are displayed (Pottery)
Overall Goals
1. Correctly circle all appropriate words (Reading).
2. Correctly count the animals (Arithmetic).
3. Correctly sort the items (History).
4. Correctly create pottery (Pottery).
