Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
3. When "Press Start or touch the Touch Screen" appear on the lower screen, the host taps the lower screen or presses the start button.
Downloading & Game/Feature/Options Selection
1. The host taps "Multiplayer (the second option from the top).
2. The host taps "Single-Card Play" (the second option from the top).
3. The host taps the character of their choice until the character is highlighted and the level they wish to play at is displayed beneath the character name.
4. The guest will power on their Nintendo DS system.
5. The guest taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
6. When the graphic bar appears saying "Igor: The Game", the guest taps on it.
7. The guests' DS systems will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
8. When the host's DS says that all guests trying to connect are connected, the host taps "Start" in the center of the screen.
9. The guest taps the character of their choice until the character is highlighted and the level they wish to play at is displayed beneath the character name.
10. The guest taps "I am Ready!" in the bottom right corner of their lower screen.
11. The host taps "Go" in the bottom right corner of their lower screen.
Game Controls / How To Play
1. Move still-falling blocks: press left or right on the direction pad.
2. Speed up the falling speed: press and hold down on the direction pad.
3. Instant block drop: press up on the firection pad.
4. Rotate the still-falling blocks clockwise: press the "A" button.
5. Rotate the still-falling blocks counter-clockwise: press the "B" button.
6. Attack: tap the colored attack buttons on the left side of the lower screen.
7. Destroy blocks: drop a Burst Block (a flickering block) onto/next to other blocks of the same color (or drop other blocks of the same color onto/next to a Burst Block).
What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, the battle is animated (when attacks take place, they are shown).
2. On the upper screen, your opponent's hit points are displayed in the top right corner.
3. On the upper screen, your opponent's available resources are displayed beneath your opponent's hit points.
4. On the lower screen, your hit points are shown in the top left corner.
5. On the lower screen, your colored attack buttons are displayed on the left half of the screen.
6. On the lower screen, the blocking area is on the right half of the screen.
