Hint #1 - Begin At The Beginning, Of Course
The first listed course is Milan, and Milan is the easiest track to win at using a combination of acceleration and braking, without the need for more advanced techniques like handbraking. Beginners (and younger racers) looking to have more fun with the download should start there for the best chance at not getting intimidated.
Hint #2 - Testing The Sample Platter
The three different race courses are very different. The cars you race on each course are also very different and, as a result, so are the way you race them. Test them all out and see what you think. The Milan course is straight up street racing with no special techniques needed. The Detroit course is a downtown street race featuring hot rods, and the Donington Park Wet course is an actual race course (not street racing) and the pavement is wet and slippery.
Hint #3 - Beware Of Offroading
On Donington Park Wet course, because it's a race course (and not a street race) and because it's (very) wet, you can easily slide off the course into the grass, so beware!
