Basic Setup
1. With the power off, the host loads the game cartridge into their Nintendo DS system.
2. The host powers their system on, then taps on the "Warning" screen and then on the graphic for the game.
3. When the "Touch Here To Start" button appears on the lower screen, the host taps it.
Downloading
1. The host taps on "Virtual Training" (the middle option).
2. The host taps on "Single-Card Play" (the bottom option).
3. The guest(s) will power on their Nintendo DS system.
4. The guest(s) tap on the "Warning" screen and then on the "DS Download Play" button.
5. When the graphic bar appears saying "GoldenEye: Rogue Agent", the guests tap on it.
6. The guests' DS systems will ask "Would you like to download this software? Tap "Yes".
7. When the host's DS says that all guests trying to connect are connected, the host taps "Start Game" near the middle right edge of the screen.

Game Controls / How To Play
Switching Between Control Schemes:
1. There are four control schemes that players can use.
2. Players can switch control schemes by tapping on their icons.
3. In the top left corner of the lower screen...
3a. "R" stands for Right-Handed Button Controls.
3b. "L" stands for Left-Handed Button Controls.
4. In the top right corner of the lower screen...
4a. "S" stands for Nintendo DS Stylus Controls.
4b. "T" stands for Thumb Controls.
4c. For Single-Card Download Play, there's no difference between Stylus controls and Thumb controls, but they'll still be listed separately.
5. The currently selected control scheme's icon letter is written in green, while the unselected icons display in white.
Control Scheme #1 - Right-Handed Button Controls (R)
1. Move Forward: Press up on the direction pad.
2. Move Backward: Press down on the direction pad.
3. Move Left: Press left on the direction pad.
4. Move Right: Press right on the direction pad.
5. Turn Left: Press the "Y" button.
6. Turn Right: Press the "A" button.
7. Crouch: Press down on the direction pad twice.
8. Look Up: Press the "X" button.
9. Look Down: Press the "B" button.
10. Left Weapon: Press the "L" button.
11. Right Weapon: Press the "R" button.
12. Pick Up Weapon: Tap an empty weapon slot on the lower screen (left or right) while standing over a weapon.
13. Reload Weapon: Tap a weapon slot on the lower screen (left or right) containing a weapon.
14. Swap Weapons: Double tap a weapon slot on the lower screen (left or right) containing a weapon.

What To Look For
1. On the upper screen, the view of the combat area is shown.
2. On the upper screen, your name and score (kills vs. deaths) is shown in the top right corner.
3. On the upper screen, the countdown timer is shown near the top right corner, beneath your name and score.
4. On the lower screen, the "R" icon for the Right-Handed Button Controls is in the top left corner.
5. On the lower screen, the "L" icon for the Left-Handed Button Controls is near the top left corner, to the right of the "R" icon.
6. On the lower screen, the "S" icon for the Nintendo DS Stylus Controls is near the top right corner, to the left of the "T" icon.
7. On the lower screen, the "T" icon for the Thumb Controls is in the top right corner.
8. On the lower screen, your armor level is shown along the center left edge of the screen.
9. On the lower screen, your health level is shown along the center right edge of the screen.
10. On the lower screen, the left hand weapon slot is in the bottom left corner.
11. On the lower screen, the right hand weapon slot is in the bottom right corner.
Overall Goals
3. Rack up the most kills and the least number of deaths.
