1. Tap the desired Save Data file once to highlight it (if it's not already highlighted) and once to select it once it's highlighted.
2. The game will ask, "Start with this save data?" If it is the correct file, tap "Yes" (it will already be highlighted).

4c. "Piccolo" (Level 4) is in the bottom left corner of the lower screen.
4d. A shadowed currently-locked character (Vegeta) is in the bottom right corner of the screen.
5. For the purpose of this walkthrough, Goku will be used.
6. Since Goku is already highlighted, tap Goku once.
7. Only one of the three cards is initially available (and is already highlighted).
8. Tap the card on the far left once.
9. "Raditz, messenger from the stars!"
10. "Goku, is this your first time playing this game?"
11. "I can help you, if only a little, in the battles that await you."
12. "If you need to know anything about this game, just ask me, alright?"
13. "Hey, thanks a lot Kami!"
14. "If it's my first time, I'd better find out as much as I can! So... what to start with?"
15. Tap "Energy Cards" once (it will already be highlighted).
16. "In this game cards called 'Energy Cards' are used for everything you do."
17. "So listen carefully!"
18. "There are three things you need to know about Energy Cards. These are:"
19. "'Power,' 'Guard,' and 'Action.'"
20. "If you don't know how these three work, this game will be much harder for you. Now, which do you want to hear about?"
21. Tap "Power" once (it will already be highlighted).
22. "In the upper left corner of each card is the image of a Dragon Ball."
23. "The number of stars is the Power rating of the card!"
24. "If you use the card to move on the Map Screen, the Power determines how far you'll move."
25. "If you use the card in a battle to attack..."
26. "and the cards' Action tyupe is 'Attack," the power becomes that attack's strength!"
27. "Ask me more about Battles to learn more about attacks."
28. "I get it! The number of stars on the Dragon Ball in the top left is the power for moving or attacking!"
29. "Also, there's a rating above 7, 'Z.'"
30. "If there are 1 to 7 stars, that's the rating, but a Z counts as 8!"
31. "Remember this well, because the Guard ratings are numbered the same way!"
32. "'Z' is the highest number! Got it!"
33. Tap "Guard" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
34. "The number in the cards' lower right is the Guard rating!"
35. "When you use a card on the Map Screen, this will determne whether you have a full battle."
36. "Ask me about the Map Screen for more details."
37. "During a battle, the Guard rating determines how effectively you can defend against enemy attacks."
38. "Ask me about battles for more details."
39. "So, the guard rating in the lower right decides whether I go into battle from the map screen."
40. "Hmm... I'd better ask more about the Map Screen and Battles to learn more."
41. Tap "Action" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
42. "In the middle of the card is its Action type!"
43. "This tells you what the card does when you use it, and there are eight kinds."
45. "Strike, Hide, Training, Reverse, Energy, Event, Use, and Z."
46. "Also, their effects are different on the Map Screen and in Battles!"
47. "What?! There's EIGHT kinds of cards..."
48. "And they work differently on the Map Screen and in Battles...?!"
49. "I'd better listed to all of this!"
50. Tap "Map Screen Effects" once (it should already be highlighted).
51. "When you use a card on the Map Screen it lets you move, but..."
52. "At the same time the card's Action type plays a role!"
53. "Ask me about Action types for more details!"
54. "Man, I really want to get to fighting!"
55. "But first, I'd better find out about how actions work!"
56. "Very well! Let's start with the ones used in battle!"
57. "Strike, Hide, Energy, and Training."
58. "A Strike card lets you attack once that turn!"
59. "A Hide card lets you hide from an opponent after moving!"
60. "...However, you can still end up in a Battle against an opponent standing on the Map Screen!"
61. "An Energy card increases the power of you attacks for one turn!"
62. "A Training card increases your defense ability for one turn."
63. "Well? Think you can remember those?"
65. "If I'm okay on HP, I can use Strike and Energy cards in battle..."
66. "But if I'm running low on HP, I should use Hid or Taining cards!"
67. "Exactly! Now, that leaves..."
68. "'Event,' 'Use,' and 'Reverse' cards."
69. "Event cards call your friends."
70. "They can help you out by giving you items and such."
71. "Use cards let you use your items."
72. "Reverse cards let you discard all the Energy Cards in your hand and draw a new hand from the deck!"
73. "Well? Can you remember all that?"
74. "I see... 'Event' cards give me the items, and 'Use' cards let me use them..."
75. "And if I don't like my hand, I can use a Reverse card to draw a new one!"
76. "Okay! I think I've got it!"
77. "Good! Now, finally, I need to tell you about Z Cards!"
78. "These can act as any Action type you wish!"
79. "This makes thesde cards extremely useful!"
80. "So they can be used for any kind of Action! That's amazing!"
81. "By the way, Goku..."
82. "These cards have different effects when you use them on the Map Screen, but..."
83. "You'll often encounter enemies after moving."
84. "Ask me about the Map Screen for more details."
85. "And listen carefully!"
86. "Yeah! I'd better listen carefully!"
87. "...Still, with so many types of Actions,"
88. "I should be ready for just about anything!"
89. Tap "Battle Effects" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
90. "Now, it's time to explain what these cards do during a Battle!"
91. "I want to get in there and fight!"
92. "So... How do I dfamage them in the first place?"
93. "Very well! For doing damage..."
94. "Let's start with the 'Stike,' 'Event,' and 'Reverse' cards."
95. "A Strike let's you attack on your own!"
96. "An Event card has your friends help out by attacking the enemy!"
97. "Reverse cards... will take some explaining."
98. "When using a Reverse, if your Power Rating is lower than your opponent's, you will swap Power!"
99. "So basically, it lets you use their own power to damage them!"
100. "So, think you can remember all this?"
101. "What?! A Reverse card can change the Power rating before a challenge?!"
102. "So when I use a Reverse card..."
103. "I can make my opponent's Power weaker or my own Power stronger?!"
104. "Exactly! It's a very interesting card!"
105. "Next are some of the cards that let you add to the power of the cards in your hand:"
106. "'Energy' and 'Training' cards."
107. "The Power rating of an Energy card"
108. "is added to that of another card!"
109. "The Power rating of a Training card"
110. "is added to the Guard rating of another card!"
111. "However, these actions can't be used to attack by themselves. Remember that!"
112. "Well? Think you can remember all that?"
113. "Energy and Training cards make my other cards stronger, eh?"
114. "But they can't be used to attack..."
115. "But if I do it right, I can deliver a really amazing attack!"
116. "To continue, that leaves:"
117. "'Use' and 'Hide' cards."
118. "'Use' cards let you use the items you're carrying!"
119. "When you want to restore HP and such, you'll need a use card."
120. "If you think your opponent is too much, you should use a Hide card!"
121. "However, there are some enemies you can't escape, so be careful!"
122. "Also, these cards can't cause damage to the opponent!"
123. "Well? Think you can remember all that?"
124. "'Use' cards let me use items..."
125. "'And 'Hide cards let me run away!"
126. "I'll need these if I get in trouble!"
127. "Finally, there's the Z Cards! Just like when you use them on the Map Screen..."
128. "you can use them as ANY Action type!"
129. "So, Z Cards can be used for any kind of action, eh?"
130. "Wow! That's so handy, it seems unfair!"
131. Tap "Back to 'About Energy Cards.'" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
132. "Well, let's see what else you need to know..."
133. Tap "Tell me about something else." twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
134. "Alright then, let's move on."
135. Tap "The Map Screen" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
136. "What you see in the top screen is the 'Map Screen.' On it there are small blue points."
137. "You can move to these by using Energy Cards."
138. "When you move, any number of things can happen."
139. "If you come to a point with an enemy, naturally a battle will follow."
140. "If you stop at a point with a picture, some kind of event will follow."
141. "The Status Screen shows you all sorts of information that will be helpful as you play the game."
142. "Now, would you like to hear about the Map Screen?"
143. Tap "Finding an Enemy" once (it should already be highlighted.
144. "When you move to one of the blue points on the Map Screen, sometimes you'll spot an enemy."
145. "This is an Encounter!"
146. "It will determine..."
147. "whether you enter a Battle!"
148. "So that's what an Encounter is...?"
149. "Now, listen carefully! In an Encounter, you and your opponent each draw a single card..."
150. "And whoever has the card with the higher rating wins. Simple, eh?"
151. "If you have a higher rating, you won't have to enter a full Battle."
152. "I see. That does sound simple."
153. "However... You'd better be careful with these Encounters..."
154. "Huh? Why's that, Kami?"
155. "Because your enemy uses their cards' Power rating for the challenge,"
156. "but you use your Guard rating!"
157. "Wh-What?! Really? That's weird..."
158. "So, I just use a card with high Guard and it'll be easy, right?"
159. "Heheheh... Goku, it's not that simple!"
160. "Because the card you use..."
161. "will be the card you used to move into the are in the first place!"
162. "What?! You mean I can't choose what card I want for an encounter?!"
163. "That's exactly right."
164. "So when you choose a card for movement, don't choose only based on Power."
165. "Think about the card's Guard rating as well."
166. "Oh, I see! A card with a high Power will let me move fast, but..."
167. "Even I'll get tired if I have to fight every single enemy that comes my way!"
168. "Wait, what happens if my Guard and the enemy's Power are the same?"
169. "In that case, you'll lose the Encounter, and you'll have to enter a Battle."
170. "But then, if you always run away you'll never get in enough training, right?"
171. "I get it! Thanks, Kami!"
172. Tap "Point with a Picture" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
173. "As you traverse the Map Screen, you'll sometimes come across a point that has a picture attached."
174. "These are Targets or Event Points."
175. "These are important, because entering them will result in an event."
176. "Now, you should be able to move around the map with no troubles!"
177. "Also, if you can't see something on the Map Screen, you can press the Map Display button un the lower right,"
178. "and it'll put the map on the bottom screen, where you can slide it around!"
179. "Now, what do you want next?"
180. Tap "Targets" once (it should already be highlighted).
181. "This is a target. It shows the next place you need to go."
182. "If you take too long, sometimes your friends could be defeated..."
183. "When a target appears, you'd best head there as quickly as you can!"
184. "Hmm... So, when a Target shows up I should hurry there! Got it!"
185. Tap "Event Points" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
186. "Occasionally, you'll encounter a point with a picture attached on the Map Screen..."
187. "This mark shows an Event Point. From the icon, you can tell what kind of event awaits you!"
188. "Wow. So, if I go to one of these, something will happen?"
190. "This is a Shop Icon"
191. "Here, you can spend the Zenie you've collected to buy various items!"
192. "This is a Healing Point!"
193. "If you go here, your HP will be restored!"
194. "This is a Capsule Icon!"
195. "Here you'll be able to find an item!"
196. "This is a Joke Icon!"
197. "If you go here, you can speak to King Kal..."
198. "When you do, give hium my regards."
199. "Finally, this is the No Entry Icon!"
200. "You can't progress beyond one of these!"
201. "Nothing will particularly happen here, but remember what it means!"
202. "Wow, there's a lot of them..."
203. "Well, I think I've got it!"
204. Tap "Back to About the Map Screen." twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
205. "Well, let's see what else you need to know..."
206. Tap "Status Screen" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
207. "In the upper right part of the bottom screen is the Information Button. Press it to see tha Status Screen."
208. "There' you'll see important information about the current stage!"
209. "I see... So if I want to know more about something I should press the Information Button?!"
211. "You should pay particular attention to the Character and Cards sections..."
212. "'Character' shows information such as your current level and HP!"
213. "'Cards' lets you see what cards you currently have and what they can do!"
214. "Okay, so I look at Character and Cards to see what I can do! Got it!"
215. "For information about the current stage, look at 'Screnario.'"
216. "There, you can see what you must do to complete the stage!"
217. "There's also 'Quit'..."
218. "This will let you leave the game!"
219. "I get it! 'Scenario' shows me what I need to do to clear the current satge..."
220. "And if I want to leave the game I pick 'Quit'!"
221. Tap "Tell me about something else." twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
222. "Alright then, let's move on."
223. Tap "Battles" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
224. "A full battle occurs when you encounter a point occupied by an enemy,"
225. "and lose the Encounter BAttle that follows."
226. "I'll explain more about Encounter Battles when we get to the Map Screen."
227. "Now, what would you like to know about the rules for battles?"
228. Tap "Attacks" once (it should already be highlighted).
229. "When a Battle begins, first you and your opponent each play one card, and compare Power ratings."
230. "Whoever wins gets to use an Attack action!"
231. "I see... So I have to play a card with a bigger Power to attack? And that's how powerful the attack is?"
232. "Something like that. However..."
233. "Don't forget that the one being attacked can defend!"
234. "Of course! Who's going to just sit there and let themselves be attacked?"
236. "Ask me about Guarding for more details!"
237. "Got it! Thanks Kami!"
238. "Hold on, Goku. I'm not done just yet!"
239. "Are you sure you understand the cards' Action types?"
240. "There are 8 types of Action on the various cards..."
241. "For example, an 'Strike' will damage the opponent..."
242. "A 'Use' card will let you use items but not attack..."
243. "So you'd best think carefully when choosing which card to use!"
244. "Ask me about Cards for more details!"
245. "...So, when I play a card I have to think about not only its Power, but the type of Action it does!"
246. "I'd better ask him more about cards!"
247. Tap "Guarding" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
248. "If you should lose the initial comparison of cards and wind up Guarding..."
249. "the strength of your Guard will be determined by that cards' Guard rating."
250. "Naturally, the higher the Guard rating, the less damage you'll take!"
251. "So, if you don't have a card with a higher Power rating..."
252. "rather than trying to out-Power them, play a card with a higher Guard rating!"
253. "... I see! If I know I can't win with Power, there's no point in playing the highest Power I have!"
254. "Thanks Kami! That'll really help!"
255. Tap "Ties" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
256. "In a Battle, if you and your opponent play cards with the same Power rating, it's a Draw!"
257. "When this happens, you'll do another Power challenge!"
258. "And the Power Rating of the previous Draw will carry over!"
259. "Woah! So, I can have twice as much Power in one attack?!"
260. "I'll be in real trouble if I get hit by one of those... But if I win, I'll be able to throw out an amazing attack!"
261. "I'll have to choose very carefully after a Draw happens..."
262. Tap "Tell me about something else." twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
263. "Alright then, let's move on."
264. Tap "Never mind." twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).

5. Tap "How to use Guard Combos" once (it should already be highlighted).
6. "Let's see... While using cards in fields and battles so far..."
7. "surely sometimes you've wanted to use many cards at once?"
8. "Well, using Guard Combos makes that possible!"
0. "So I can use all my cards for attacking or moving at once?"
11. "You might want to, but that won't do!"
12. "A Guard Combo only let's you use multiple cards with the same Guard rating!"
13. "If, while selecting a card, you can select other cards with the same Guard rating..."
14. "and you'll be able to use all of those cards at once!"
15. "I get it! A Guard Combo is only for cards with the same Guard value!"
16. "But if I happen to have lots of cards with the same Guard rating, I can use them all at once!"

22. "Wow! So, when I've just moved in a field and I really want to avoid a battle,"
23. "or if I need to defend against an attack from a really strong opponent..."
24. "A Guard Combo will really help!"
25. "Wait, does that mean Power and Action aren't improved at all?"
26. "Unfortunately, Power and Action..."
27. "are both determined by the first card. That's how a Guard Combo works."
28. "Oh! The rest will take some time to explain, but I'd better tell you. Heheh."
29. "Wait a minute? Do you mean there are other kinds of combos?"
30. "Alright! I can't wait to find out about those too!"

8. "it seems that you have not easily matered it."
9. "Even if you have a lot of cards in your hand..."
10. "only using one card once, will not produce great power..."
11. "Your hidden 'Power Value' released is the 'Power Combo'!"
12. "Eh!? Release the unused 'Power Value'!?"
13. "I can now use all the cards in my hand at once?"
14. "B... but do I really have such a power sleeping in me?"
15. "He he he. That is your hand. In other words it depends..."
16. "A 'Power Combo' can only be used with with cards with the same 'Power Value'..."
17. "When you choose a card, and there's another card with the same 'Power Value'..."
18. "You can use all those cards together!"
19. "Being able to use only cards with the same 'Power Value' together is amazing!"
20. "With this, even I can be of help to Mr. Piccolo!"
21. Tap "Power Combo's effect" twice (once to highlight it and again to select it).
22. "If you use a Power Combo with the cards you currently have..."
23. "then all of the card's Power value will beadded up together!"
24. "In other words, the more cards you use with the same 'Power Value'..."
25. "the stronger the Power Combo will you can make the card."
