Hint #1 - I Walk The Line
In Bleach: The Blade Of Fate's single-card download mode, there are two battle line. Players one and two will begin by battling on one line and players three and four will start out on the other line (the two lines will look like foreground and background in the game. Switching lines can be done by pressing the "L" button if you have a full bar of Spiritual Power to spare. All four players can battle on the same line at the same time, but having separate lines is a way of easing players into a bout. Just like all four players can be on the same line together, one player can be on a line all by themselves. Want to reduce the number of enemies you're fighting at any one time? Want a quick breather? Jump!
Hint #2 - Two-Player Co-Op (And-Other Hyphenated-Words)?
The game features has no native way of starting a team (tag) battle with both humans on the same side, working together. The game, however, can be "tricked" or, more accurately, circumvented. Start a game with three Nintendo DS systems. Characters 1 and 3 will always be on the same team and characters 2 and 4 will always be on the same team. The host will be character 1, the unused system should connect first (character 2) and the other player (character 3) should connect next. Once the "Character Options & Stage Selection" menu appears (it will have four columns of options). The bottom option in each column is the controller. On the unused system, highlight the controller option and select an AI-controlled character. The game will then be two humans versus two AI (game-controlled) characters.
