Game Controls / How To Play - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. Before beginning, press the Select button to "put in quarters for credits".
2. To begin playing the game, press the Start button.
3. Each move is a combination of a direction on the Direction Pad and either a punch or a kick.
4. The "A" button it the kick button and the "B" button is the punch button.
5. Jump Up: Press up on the Direction Pad.
6. Long Jump: Press up/left or up/right on the Direction Pad.
7a. Up/Left + "A": Cyclone Kick
7c. Up/Right + "A": High Kick
7d. Left + "A": Tilted High Kick
7e. Right + "A": Spinning Kick
7f. Down/Left + "A": Ground Kick
7g. Down + "A": Ankle Attack
7h. Down/Right + "A": Leg Sweep
8a. Up/Left + "B": Spinning Punch
8c. Up/Right + "B": Head Punch
8d. Left + "B": Face Attack
8e. Right + "B": Straight Punch A
8f. Down/Left + "B": Split Leg Punch
8g. Down + "B": Ankle Attack
8h. Down/Right + "B": Straight Punch B
What To Look For - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. On the upper screen, the gameplay is displayed.
2. On the upper screen, Player 1's score is in the top left corner.
3. On the upper screen, the high score is in the top center of the screen.
4. On the upper screen, Player 2's score is in the top right corner.
5. On the upper screen, the number of extra lives remaining is depicted beneath Player 1's score.
6. On the upper screen, each fighter's current energy level (and closeness to being KO'd) is beneath the scores.
7. On the lower screen (Co-op Game), the PAUSE button is in the bottom left corner.
8. On the lower screen (Co-op Game), the RESET button is in the bottom center.
9. On the lower screen (Co-op Game), the EXIT button is in the bottom right corner.
10. On the lower screen (Demo), the screen orientation button is in the top left corner of the screen.
NOTE: The only screen orientation button is LATERAL FULL.
11. On the lower screen (Demo), the PAUSE button is along the bottom of the screen, to the left.
12. On the lower screen (Demo), the RESET button is along the bottom of the screen, in the center.
13. On the lower screen (Demo), the EXIT button is along the bottom of the screen, to the right.
14. On the lower screen (Dual DS Game), a duplication of the DS's buttons and Direction Pad is shown, indicating when buttons are pushed (guest).
15. On the lower screen (Dual DS Game), the PAUSE button is along the bottom of the screen, to the left (guest).
16. On the lower screen (Dual DS Game), the RESET button is along the bottom of the screen, in the center (guest).
17. On the lower screen (Dual DS Game), the EXIT button is along the bottom of the screen, to the right (host and guest).
Overall Goals - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. Score the most points.
2. Stay alive/active the longest.
Game Hints - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. Don't just go on the offensive. Remember to block and dodge.
2. Keep your distance briefly at the beginning of each fight. Watch how you4r opponent attacks and watch what the most effective blocks and dodges might be before going all in.

Replay Controls / How To Watch - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. While watching a replay, a previously played game will be shown.
2. The only options are to pause the replay, rewind the replay, stop the replay (quit), or change the screen orientation.
3. To pause the replay, tap the on-screen "PAUSE" button.
4. To rewind the replay, tap the on-screen "REWIND" button.
5. To stop the replay, tap the on-screen "STOP" button (this will exit the replay and require the system to be turned off).
6. To make the upper screen show the action using the entire upper screen, tap the "LATERAL FULL" button.
What To Look For - Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1. On the upper screen, the replay will be shown.
2. On the upper screen, Player 1's score is in the top left corner.
3. On the upper screen, the high score is in the top center of the screen.
4. On the upper screen, Player 2's score is in the top right corner.
5. On the upper screen, the number of extra lives remaining is depicted beneath Player 1's score.
6. On the upper screen, each fighter's current energy level (and closeness to being KO'd) is beneath the scores.
11. On the lower screen, the amount of time that has elapsed in the replay is in the top left corner.
12. On the lower screen, the buttons currently being pushed are shown in the top right corner.
10. On the lower screen, the screen orientation button is in the middle left of the screen.
NOTE: The only screen orientation button is LATERAL FULL.
14. On the lower screen, the REWIND button is along the bottom of the screen, to the left.
15. On the lower screen, the PAUSE button is along the bottom of the screen, in the center.
16. On the lower screen, the STOP button is along the bottom of the screen, to the right.
