Game Controls / How To Play - Shadow Shift

1. After the three second countdown, shadows will appear on the upper screen; the shadows will (usually) be moving.

2. A series of pictures - anywhere from two to six - will be displayed in squares on the lower screen.

3. All of the shadows on the upper screen will have matching color pictures on the lower screen.

4. There will also be additional images on the lower screen that don't have shadow counterparts.

5. After you've determined which color images have shadow counterparts, tap those images on the lower screen.

6. Once you've selected all images that have matching shadows, another set of images and shadows will appear.

7. If you tap an incorrect image, a giant red "X" will appear on the lower screen and the next set of images and shadows will appear.

What To Look For - Shadow Shift

1. On the upper screen, shadows of images shown on the lower screen will be shown.

2. On the lower screen, images - some of whom have matching shadows on the upper screen - are displayed in white squares.

3. On the lower screen, the countdown timer is located in the bottom left corner.

4. On the lower screen, the current difficulty - beginning with Easy (no stars), Normal (**), or Hard (***) - is displayed in the bottom right corner.

Overall Goals - Shadow Shift

1. Achieve 100% accuracy.

2. Complete as many as you can in 60 seconds.

Game Hints - Shadow Shift

1. Find identifying marks - handles of scissors, horns on animals, tongs of a fork, etc. - that are only on one picture to help with identification.

2. If the images are sometimes covering each other up but sometimes not, waiting until they're not will simplify the task, but watch the clock!
