Game Controls / How To Play - Pathfinder
1. After the three second countdown, animals will appear on the upper screen and matching animals will appear on the lower screen.
2. In between these animals, a series of vertical lines with the occasional horizonal line represent paths.
3. The animals on the upper screen will start descending the vertical lines they are at, but they'll turn at EVERY intersection.
4. The pre-made set of vertical and horizontal lines will not get the animals on the upper screen to their identical matches on the lower screen.
5. To get identical animals to meet up, one horizontal line must be drawn on the lower screen.
6. Once you determine where the new horizonal line must be drawn, draw it with the stylus until the line solidifies and straightens itself.
7. As soon as the line segment is drawn, all animals will begin descending simultaneously.
8. If the line segment was correctly placed, all animals will reach their identical matches.
9. If the line segment was not correctly placed, one or more animals will not reach their identical matches and the next board will be presented.
10. If the animals cross a horizontal line with a skull on it, the board is rejected and the next board is presented.
What To Look For - Pathfinder
1. On the upper screen, the animals that will travel the paths are shown at their starting locations.
2. On the lower screen, the paths where a line segment must be drawn and the identical matches the moving animals are hoping to meet up with are displayed.
3. On the lower screen, the countdown timer is located in the bottom left corner.
4. On the lower screen, the current difficulty - beginning with Easy (no stars), Normal (**), or Hard (***) - is displayed in the bottom right corner.
Overall Goals - Pathfinder
1. Achieve 100% accuracy.
2. Complete as many as you can in 60 seconds.
Game Hints - Pathfinder
1. Lines do NOT need to be perfectly horizontal -- diagonal lines work as well, as long as the beginning and end of the line are placed correctly.
2. Often, the lower the drawn line segment, the better. Be careful that a line segment helping one animal doesn't mess up the path of another.
3. Remember: the skull indicates the end of progress (some may say "death"). Don't let animals cross there.
