Game Controls / How To Play - Flash Memory
1. After the three second countdown, a bar will appear on the upper screen.
2. The bar will first say the number of characters (2 through 9) and will then displazy the actual characters.
3. The characters can be any digit 0 through 9 or symbols such as diamonds, spades, or hearts.
4. The actual characters will be on the screen for no more than one second and will then leave the screen.
5. After you memorize the actual characters, tap them into the character pad on the lower screen with the stylus (there is no "Enter" or "Done" necessary).
6. If you entered the correct characters in the correct order, a green check mark will appear on the lower screen and the process will begin again.
What To Look For - Flash Memory
1. On the upper screen, a display bar will say how many characters there are and will then display the actual characters for no more than one second.
2. On the lower screen, the character pad is displayed so that you can type in the actual characters.
3. On the lower screen, the countdown timer is located in the bottom left corner.
4. On the lower screen, the current difficulty - beginning with Easy (no stars), Normal (**), or Hard (***) - is displayed in the bottom right corner.
Overall Goals - Flash Memory
1. Achieve 100% accuracy.
2. Complete as many as you can in 60 seconds.
Game Hints - Flash Memory
1. There'll never be more than one non-digit character type in a given set and they share the same button. In other words: if it's not a number, you know what to hit.
2. In longer actual character sets, the non-digit character is often used as the middle character (for example, a 9 character code might be split into 2 fours by the character).
